About Our Vet Clinic

Tierramesa Veterinary Clinic was established in 1980 by Dr Shatila and we have been serving the Tierrasanta, Kearney Mesa and San Diego Communities for over 35 years.  With the addition of Dr Berk in 2014, we have broadened our services, and added new perspectives to proven traditional techniques.

Even though Dr Shatila has retired a few years ago and Dr Berk is the owner and the sole practitioner of our clinic.  Dr Shatila still is a part of our clinic and helps us with his broad experience when needed.

​

We believe you and your pets deserve to be treated like family members. We tailor our care to each patient’s age, lifestyle and special circumstances, instead of a one size fits all veterinary model.

 

We emphasize on building personal relationships with our clients and to gain their trust. Most importantly, we combine our professional expertise with your insights, needs and desires to create a truly personal treatment plan. We continue to build our reputation by being honest, ethical and caring with our clients and their pets.

 

Tierramesa Veterinary Clinic also believes in giving back to the community and does so by supporting local schools, public organizations and animal rescue groups. Our clients and our community have returned the favor by letting us taking care of  multiple generations of  their pets and sharing their experiences with their friends.
